Auxiliary light brackets
I have ordered some heed engine bars and I need to remove the auxiliary light brackets and replace them with something else
Anyone got any recommendations? particularly ones that will fit the BMW lights on
I have seen some lights mounted between the fairing under the front light which looked good but can't find any brackets for them

Re: Auxiliary light brackets
Denali does mounts that fit just below the mirrors but a bit expensive at £116. Also there is Heed and Givi. I think Wunderlich do some

Re: Auxiliary light brackets
Yeah the denali ones are a bit on the steep side!
By the looks of it I will be fitting them to the engine bars using something like what Steve linked to

Re: Auxiliary light brackets
Found some but not sure if I like the position they are in!
I wanted them higher or in a similar position to the standard ones but the brackets and bar combination just won't allow that position!
Am I being too picky?
If they stay there I will need to extend the wiring

Re: Auxiliary light brackets
Not really!
The brackets are pretty big and can't get the correct angles due to fouling with the engine
Plus the rear of the lights touch the engine too
Re: Auxiliary light brackets
Here are mine on the Illium brackets, they are full adjustable on all planes.

Re: Auxiliary light brackets
Extended the wiring for the lights the other night!
I went the whole hog and removed the loom for the lights and extended them at the top end where it is all hidden and taped it all back up and it looks stock! well what you can see of it anyway
Lights look OK where they are now they work
