Hello

Post by Jds1710 »

Hi, I’m new to this group as I am in the process of buying a 2019 1250RT from a main dealer. It will join my urban GS in the garage. I plan to do a trip circumnavigating the U.K. staying fairly near the coast. I might break it up in to 2 loop depending on how it goes. The RT seemed the perfect bike for this. After a 2 hour test ride I decided it was the comfiest motorcycle I’ve ever ridden after 42 years of almost constant riding. I’m also starting my IAM course soon now I’ve retired and have lots more time.

Welcome to the forum.

The BMW Club are currently doing a Coastal Tour of GB.
I'm going to join them between Cardiff & Canterbury.

The guy who has organised it sent these routes.
