I've touched down on a rbt 2-up, but no problems, other than a bit of verbal from the passenger!

Re: Foot peg lowering kit for RT
That is the exact same kit and supplier I used, and the brake lever lowering plate fitted perfectly and the peg lowering brackets were a nice piece of kit. The only issue as I posted elsewhere is the large grub screw that helps hold the new bracket tightly in place is too long by about 5mm and has to be filed down. There are two grub screws each side and the smaller one fits perfectly. Don't let this put you off buying it.

Although I've only sat on the bike since I fitted the kit,I was having trouble getting contacted with the gear lever.I chanced an enlarger/extender from ebay and it seems to be a lot better.
Next Saturday is d-day,hopefully the extender will give me the extra touch
Forgot to say,also from China

I made extenders to fit brake and gear levers. I haven't over large feet(9) but i felt like i had to tuck my feet inwards to push the brake and gear levers.
Along with the peg lowing kit i no longer have knee problems after a long ride.

Re: Foot peg lowering kit for RT
I just received my BMW Hight Seat which I ordered as an extra with the original bike deal. After fitting that, adding a lambskin seat cover on top, and having lowered the foot pegs already.... I finally have an ideal riding position for my 190cm/6'4" height (86.4cm/34" inseam). Of course the windscreen now is not high enough to fully protect my head from wind buffeting, but I can live with that.

Re: Foot peg lowering kit for RT
Rode the bike for the1st time in 2 years today Turns out I can't change gear with the front of my foot, only the heel.I can't twist my ankle enough(this is after me accident last may)
Thought this extender would do the trick
But no.I have an idea I used on my GSF but before I go down that route, anybody else extendedthe gear lever.

If your gear lever is like on my 07 it's made of steel. If so just cut and insert a piece of steel with the length required

Re: Foot peg lowering kit for RT
I want to put a peg lowering kit on my 2013 (old shape) RT but I am struggling to find the kits now (except at extortionate prices). Everything on Aliexpress seems to be for the later model 1200 and 1250s. Does anyone know if it is possible to fit the later model kits to the earlier bike or are they totally different. The photos look similar but are not always necessarily true to the actual item. Thanks
