Low fuel warning light
I had a new fuel sender fitted a few months back. When the old one worked the low fuel light came on at 50 miles of fuel left. This morning i rode into town and it started to flash at 36 miles left. This worked out to 320 miles per tank. Not bad as i rode between 80mph to 100mph in France and Spain.
When does your light start to flash?

Re: Low fuel warning light
Mine generally comes on at 50 miles to go. When training on the Police bikes it’s come in at 35 miles to go. May be the same amount of fuel left but distance is based on average fuel consumption immediately prior to reaching the activation level.

Re: Low fuel warning light
I would agree with this, sometimes my low fuel warning light comes on with around ~50 miles remaining range. The 45 miles quoted earlier was after a spirited ride and lower than normal mpg.

Re: Low fuel warning light
Better fuel consumption (mpg) today but low fuel warning light still came on at 45 miles remaining range.

I must admit I don’t let my tank get that low, around 100 miles and I’m looking to fill up
