Rev limiter
I have a 2023 rt. Just curious if normal. When twist throttle full rpm's seems to get to about 85 to 8800 and labor there instead of going up to Rev limiter.

Re: Rev limiter
I have a 23 model GS and from what I've read BMW have done something in the ecu to stop people pulling the clutch on and revving the nuts out of the engine, I think mine his some sort of limiter at around 6k while coasting with the clutch pulled on. The end of the line for tunnel symphonies
The GS 'is' the better bike :-)

Re: Rev limiter
When I got my 17RT, I had to reset my limiter at @3k miles using a GS911. I have yet to see a notification to make that change.
It must be part of the 600 or 1200-mile inspection? Obviously mine got overlooked

Re: Rev limiter
Is this in gear and under load accelerating or revving in neutral/coasting? I'm assuming the engine is warmed up too:-) Peter
