Top Case, Coocase Astra is great but so far fwd that it ruins pillion comfort and it doesn’t even have the back cushion put on
Advise or suggestions:
-Any experience or suggestions on how to move the entire case 3 or 4 inches backwards? when I look at mounting bracket it doesn’t seem possible to adjust or even modify-
-I’m open to buying a different case Givi or Shad etc- If one of these mounts case further back but it pics these other cases mostly look equally as far forward, maybe I’m wrong perhaps one of these does actually sit back further not sure- Coocase on there now is certainly not concave it’s all the way round so does bow out a little-
-I’m amazed that anyone can use these much with passenger because they limit space so much, let alone passenger and the added back cushion they come with-
Thanks in advance for the advice!

Jason,
Borrow the BMW top case and see if this resolves your issues, if so, this is your solution.

Can't you just fabricate a mounting bracket and move the case back a few inches? Two pieces of quarter inch aluminum ought to do the job. If you are not that handy, a local bike shop ought to be able to take care of it.

I have a Shad 58 XL which is further back than the one in your picture but my wife says it is still slightly further forward than the stock BMW one that we had on a previous RT. She says it's fine though, the difference. The Shad can only really go in one position as well. You would have to fabricate a bracket for that if it still wasn't far enough back. Mine came with the cushions but makes no difference if I remove it. Great top box though.
