I found a new auxiliary light on ebay for buy it now £199 or make an offer and being a tight yorkshireman I decided to make an offer!
Stuck it as £150 expecting it to get declined then creep up from there
They declined it alright and then edited the advert and put the price up by £16
Decided not to bother and I will go elsewhere now!

Dunno why some even bother to post 'make offer' when they have no intention of coming down on the price.

Re: The Cheek!
Had the same happen to me. "make an offer" asked the seller what offer they would take and they wouldn't sell the item unless it was £1 under the asking price. Told them where to go. They relisted the item 5 times and each time the postage went up.sakm wrote: ↑Fri Sep 29, 2023 8:42 pm I found a new auxiliary light on ebay for buy it now £199 or make an offer and being a tight yorkshireman I decided to make an offer!

I'm also the sort of person that would sooner replace both the lights for the newer nano version and a replacement loom at a total cost of about £450 than now give any money to someone who raises prices like that!

Re: The Cheek!
I’ve come across this many times, even had one person block my any counter offer , why they add make offer is beyond me!.
I don’t use my dip lights for fear of blowing them and tackling a bulb change and I’m £££ conscious of using the aux lights

Changed my lights for Cyclops LED's yesterday on my R1250RT. 20 minutes to fit the bulbs and ballast, 5 - 6 hours to remove/fit everything that needed to come off so I could do it.
