Hi from Queensland Australia

Post by Kevy »

New to the forum but have been a Beemer owner for about 20 years. Previous BMs K1200gt ex police, R1200rt 2009 ex police and current R1200RT 2014 civilian (lots of extra goodies)
Now I have decided I need the help of the brain trust. I have 1 immediate problem, my scan cable to go to OBD 2 is different on the 2009 and the 2014, still round but the locators are in a different orientation and I haven't heard of this or seen different cable options.
Any clues?
Thanks Guys and Gals.

Opps ! When all else fails read the manual. OBD port is not under the seat, as is the case on the 2009 but under the battery cover on the 2014.
Funnily enough the cable fits.
