So i have been reading a fair bit on the forum about everything i think i should know for now.
I am looking to take out the BMW warranty for the RT as i think its money well spent.
There is just one thing i'm not 100% sure on.
If you want it to start in say April. You make the first payment the month before in March.
Does that mean when you want it to run untill the end of Setpember the last payment will be in August ?

Yes, that is exactly what I do. Pay on 1st March to start on 1st April. I pay 7 months until September with cover ending on 31st October.

So if the bike is only used 6 or 7 months a year, then doing it monthly is a no brainer. Well worth £39 with a £50 excess.
What do you get these days for £10 a week, not much. 4 cups of milky coffee when out on the bike or less than 1.5 gallons of fuel.

I normally go for the 100GBP excess, reducing the premium to 35GBP per month which includes the roadside assistance.
