So with the R1250RT, when buying accessories or parts. some are listed for years 2019 to 2020, then 2021>. But there are also some listed as 2019>.
So apart from the front fairing, headlight and clocks, what are the other main differences between them.
I've been told the main parts of the bike are the same, is this true ?
R-1250-RT Differences
Re: R-1250-RT Differences
Basically yes. Front fairing is different, headlight, tft instead of clocks and screen. But the rest is the same.

Re: R-1250-RT Differences
Many of the parts are the same from the wet head models, the Shiftcam engine means the engine bars from the earlier ones may not fit and as you have identified the lights upper fairing, screen and instruments are different but the frame lower plastics etc should be identical. I transferred some of my customisation from a 2016 1200 to my 2023 bike.
Re: R-1250-RT Differences
Just to clarify, Headers on all the 1250s are the same, but different on the 1200s. Mufflers fit both headers, I have my 1200 Akra on my 2019 1250, which is not an issue. The 2019 1250 although EU5 ready, was homologated as EU4, the same as the 1200s. But I wouldn't have any issue using the same muffler on any of the 1250s. The 21 on Akra muffler has two baffles.
