How do you measure inside leg? My trouser fitting is 32"-33" and I am a little over 6' tall. Listen to TMF and he says that his inside leg is 32" but he's 5'8" - is he measuring to the ground?

I fitted lowering pegs to my RT which improved comfort no end - to be honest it was almost unrideable when I picked it up with the seat set to the low position and standard pegs. Lowered pegs and the high seat position is lovely but leaves my head in dirty air - I've since started dropping the seat to the low position again to get my head out of the breeze on motorways. It is less comfortable on the knees but better overall at high speeds. I really don't want to start changing screens - too costly, too ugly, uncertain results and puts extra strain on the standard supporting arms.

Struggled with this one

I applaud the idea, but in most of the pictures I could barely se the difference, and it's about your shape also, the only way to know is try it out and see how it feels, although I know form experience a low seat would not fit my frame, but I'd go for a standard or tall and not worry too much about it.

This is useful as a guide as you can add risers, footpeg lowers, solo or pillion, but nothing beats a real test ride…

I have never got why people use these!

The best way is to go and sit on the bikes and ride them

For short riders it's all about confidence

And for comfort everyone's different and what's comfy for one isn't always comfortable for another
