Can you have more than one key fob programed to the RT.
Is it only BMW dealers who can program the fob to the bike.
Key Fob Programing to bike
Re: Key Fob Programing to bike
Yes, you can have as many as you want. A new fob from BMW is around £200 (saw on another forum last week)and they programme it. I bought an extra one in 2019 for around £150, but the dealer couldn't get it to work, so I returned it and got my money back.

I have two for our keyless bike, my wife keeping the spare because I’m notorious with putting my key ‘somewhere safe’, never to be seen again!
My local dealer paired the spare in about a minute.
However, If you’re going to carry both on the bike, as we do on tour, then put it in a Faraday case to prevent the bike getting confused.

Thank god i'm not the only one who has a lovely beautiful wife who has a memory like a sieve.
When she says "don't worry i put it away somewhere safe"
Don't you hate it when you know where you put everything thats yours. But when you go to get it, its not there. And they turn around and say " i've not touched it"
