Hi all!
first post here,
question regarding tire life and clutch life for the daily riders.
how often are you replacing tires/brake pads, every 10k miles or less?
and has anyone put the rekluse clutch on their rt? is it worth the hype?

Hi and welcome
9k out of my last set of tyres which where michelin road 6 gt
Mix of hard riding and two up touring which I thought wasn't too bad

Re: tire/ clutch life for daily riders
Different BMW, but on my C650 Sport I just replaced the tires and brake pads at 10K miles. That bike I ride almost exclusively in town on surface streets (lots of braking and accelerating!). The 1200RT I will ride mostly long-distance highway, so I expect relatively little wear on clutch or brake pads, and hope to also get around 10K miles out of a set of tires. I just bought it, so we'll have to see over the next year or two.
Re: tire/ clutch life for daily riders
So my shop currently has a bid in to service the local PD BMW rt1250 police bikes, and having never owned one for very long I am trying to gauge weather 2 clutches a year and 4 sets of tires would cover the cops for about 25k miles per year,
