Colour on V5

Post by EasyRider »

So the paint colour of my 1250RT is Carbon-Schwarz metallic.
On my V5 it has the colour as BLACK. But it's a dark blue.
My wife Yamaha XJ6F is black and when the two are next to eachother your can see its blue and not black.
So can i ask if others with the same colour can tell me what colour is on the V5 please.

Thank you for the info.
I see that there is a bronze that looks black as well.
I checked some reg number on the DVLA website and got a mix of Black, Bronze and Brown for the same colour.
I think it also comes down to the person at the dealer who does the info to reg the bike with the DVLA when new.

I had a Yamaha xj1200 in Yamaha yellow/ black racing colours. But on the V5 it stated black because of the black strip. I think they must pick the darkest colour on a vehicle
