Mirrior vibration

Post by stevekraft »

I have a new to me 2022 R1250RT coming off a 2013 GTL.
I really like the RT, but have noticed the mirrors seem to vibrate and distort the image.
The GTL was very stable and vibration free.
Is this usual and has anyone found a solution?
thanks.

Similar issue with my '18 R1250RT. It's a good enough rear view, but I wouldn't call it great. In practice we're riding a bloody great big twin, piston doing opposite things. I'm sure BMW engineers did their best, but they ain't miracle workers. Would I like a clearer rear view, yes. Does it still do it's job, yes. Would it put me off buying another RT, no.

Do a search as some others have noted/fixed this issue.
