As i am fitting mirrors to the handlebars i needed ones that would clear the screen on full lock.
I bought some SW Motech mirror risers that help in moving the mirror mount nearer me.
I bought a pair of R Nine T round mirrors as i do like to try and keep the parts OEM where i can.
But i still found the mirrors touch the screen until the screen was near 50% raised.
So i thought i would try heating one of the stems up to see if i could bend it. NOPE it broke Do'h.
So i bought another mirror used from ebay.
I also looked on Nippynormans at the mirrors for sale on there that fold and thought if the other mirrors dont work i could get a pair of them at £50 each.
I then thought i would have one last hunt on eBay.
I had a look at the SW Motech ones, but at £244 a pair was a bit to much money.
BUT then a new listing came up for a pair of the SW Motech mirrors.
They were from SW Motech UK and were used on a demo bike at the ABR show. So they are used, but as new.
The best part was they were only £100 posted, a saving of 59% or £144. So i bought them.
The stem can adjust from 182mm to 212mm long and also fold up or down.

Re: Mirrors
I forgot i bought a pair of Honda mirrors for £20 posted, which were delivered yesterday.
I have fitted them and they look ok. The screen still needs to be raised about 2" to clear on full lock.
I am hoping that the SW Motech mirrors will give full lock with the screen down. If not i can return them.
I'm not worried if some think the mirrors look odd, as long as i can have a clear view behind me i'm happy.
Here is a photo of the Honda mirrors fitted.
