Re: Handlebar Extender
I bought one when I had my R1200RT, it said it was for the 1200, but when it arrived it had a 8mm bolt, my bars were 10mm, I got the hole in the extender bored out at work and bought a M10 bolt.

Re: Handlebar Extender
I have just purchased 2 of these extenders. The fitting was easy enough but I couldn't find the torque setting anywhere, so I settled for 19NM.
I am in the process of fitting the CHIGEE AOI LITE SMART RIDING SYSTEM including the mobile phone holder and charger. I slight issue exists due to the very smooth surface of the bar extender in so far as the tightening of the clamp of the phone mount. The clamp really needs to be tight to ensure no movement in the attachment. I guess if I was to roughen the smooth steel surface somewhat, the attachment would be more secure?

Re: Handlebar Extender
Thanks Rayweal, just the type of thing I needed know. Having a polished St Steel surface may look pretty, but may not be practical. I'll rough the surface up with some course grit paper before installation.
