BikeSure Insurance

Post by EasyRider »

I am having problems with BikeSure ATM over my wife new insurance policy with them.
Now when i took it out for her i did the quote with 3 years NCD.
The last time it was use was from 1st sept 21 to 31st Aug 22
The renewal for 1st sept 22 to 31st Aug 23 gave the wife 4 years NCD which is right.
We did not use the 4 year NCD on the renewal as we swapped it with the 9 year NCD she also had.
So this policy with the 4 years NCD ran out 18 months ago, so within the 2 years to keep the NCD.
Now BikeSure are saying

"We have received a document in regards to your proof of No Claims Bonus (NCB).
Unfortunately, we could not accept the document provided as there was a large gap in insurance policies."

So i will be back on the phone at 9am to try and sort this out.

Thank god i got to speak to someone with a brain.
So it's all sorted now (i hope).

The wife had 2 policys. 9 NCD protected on the SV650s and 4 NCD on the xj6f.
When the sv650s was W/O we moved the 9 NCD over to the xj6f at renewal.
So the 4 NCD that was on the xj6f was free to use on another bike when she got one.
This had to be within the 2 years of the policy ending.
She now has another sv650s on the road so the 4 NCD is to be used on this bike.

We have paperwork from Hasting Direct to prove this as well.

So how hard was this to understand and work out that the 9 NCD & 4 NCD are only being used on one bike each.

Well done to the guy i was speaking to this morning as he understood what i was saying.
