Went for a short ride, Shropshire to the Lake District for a cuppa and to chew the cud with some like minded souls from the Iron Butt Association. Overcast but okay on the way up / p*ssed it down on the way back! All I'll say is thank goodness for Gore-tex.

Hmmm went to the dark side and test rode gs 1300. Loved it. Did find shaft housing catching heel. Rapid and wind protection good on top half. Apparently recall on top case and panniers on back order.
Then went for ride, lots of flooded roads and snow around Longleat.

Still wall papering the stairs and hallway. Been a week now and still have the downstairs hall to do. Must have lost half a stone going up and down the stairs. Can't lose too much as the wife will moan if I have to buy smaller size clothes

Sitting around a heater as our combi boiler stopped working yesterday. Waiting for the part. Another £500 to pay out. Also the electric shower has started to make a funny noise. Luckily I can refit the shower myself.

Well not today, but over 2 days.
I have given the RT a good deep clean.

Now i remember why i stopped buying black or dark colour cars.
I will never if i can help it, ride my RT in the wet or when salt is down again.
Going by our UK weather i think my Varadeo is going to get well used.

Picked up a nail in the rear tyre this morning, noticed after a drop in the tyre monitors pressure on the dash.
Got home and tried to plug it with a rats tail, no joy.
As both tyres are nearing the end of their useful life have arranged a recommended mobile tyre fitter to replace both on friday.

Off to spain in six weeks so needed to change them anyway.

Had a new boiler fitted. No more washing from pots from the hob and I can now feel my toes as well. Was getting fed up wearing long jogs. This time of year I am usually in T-shirts and shorts indoors. Back to normal thank God. This all means the wife stops moaning and I can get some bike stuff done now
