I just bought myself a 2013 R1200RT SE and I'm taking delivery next week.
For the last 20 years i've been riding a 1982 Honda CB900 Custom so it will be a big change. I'm going to have a lot of questions once i get it.

Loved my 1982 CB900F2C for 5 years until it snapped a cam chain!Bikergonebald wrote: ↑Wed Mar 27, 2024 9:17 pm I just bought myself a 2013 R1200RT SE and I'm taking delivery next week.

I think Honda had problems with cam chains through the 80s. I had a 1987 CBR1000F and it was fitted with a mark7 (7 attempts to get it right!) automatic cam chain adjuster.
Slow in, fast out.
