Re: Sargent seat
Interesting. I have a Sargent on order, to replace the OEM high seat which is just not comfortable on longer rides. Don't seem to have the sliding problem with the OEM - hopefully the Sargent is similar in that regard. We will see.

Re: Sargent seat
I think part of it is down to the colder weather we are still having and wearing Textiles still.
Maybe leather wont slide so much, But in the summer i wear motorcycle armoured jeans.
I dont slide side to side anymore like i did on the sports bikes. I like my ass to stay where it is now.
And because of my knee problem, i find it hurts to grip the tank with my knees.

Re: Sargent seat
I have been looking at new seats for mine as just recently I have been getting a pain in the arse! or so the wife says
Normally I can go a good 10 - 12 hours and 300+ miles before any issues but the other day 120 miles and a few hours and I was in pain!
Is this a sign I am getting old
I am a bit reluctant to spend the best part of £800+ on a set of seats if its still not going to be right!
Am I worrying over nothing and should I just take the plunge

They do come up second hand occasionally, but for a man of your financial stature…
I’ve had a set on the Pan and the RT, worth it in diamonds!

Re: Sargent seat
Received mine yesterday. Of course it was delivered an hour after I left for my ~200 mile club ride. Tried it today (about 40 miles on canyon roads) and seems good, but will need a longer trip to be sure. Since my RT had the OEM "high" seat and Sargent does not make an equivalent, mounted it in the high position.
Riding position is good, and no apparent sliding about. Happy so far.

Re: Sargent seat
You can get Aliexpress ones, I think Dr T bought one but I doubt they do one for the Sargent seat.

Re: Sargent seat
So yesterday, i got around to buying a cool cover for my Sargent seat. Not cheap @ £70 posted.
The last couple of rides i was able to wear my leather trousers and enjoyed the sargent seat more.
So i'm looking forward to trying the cool cover on the seat.

Re: Sargent seat
My Cool seat cover is here and fitted.
Can i ask others who have the cool cover, If they bed in over time ?
I have fitted it using the 2 straps on the cover, plus some cable ties.
But i'm not happy with the movement still when sitting on the cool cover.
I really like the Tribo seat cover and wish they did one for the Sargent seat.
