Ok I’ve been here before I think but at the start of a supposedly bike season I’ve washed the 1250rt for first time this year and I still absolutely hate doing it!!. Skint hands, 8 various brushes none of which I can reach the intricate bits with, bad back, cricked neck etc etc.
so I’m thinking mix up the warm water and wash n wax in a sprayer for the awkward parts and just use a pressure washer and be done with it!.
Ideas ?, apart from don’t wash it .

As above, although I have been known to get ‘down and dirty’on my back, washing the underside of the bike by hand too. Dry with a pet drier… repeat after (almost) every ride!

Re: Pressure washers ?….
I hate washing the bikes or cars now. But when i do, it's a bucket of Meguiar's Gold Class Car Shampoo and Conditioner, then i hose it off and use my blower to dry it off.
I hate leaving it to dry on its own as the water marks are a bitch to remove.

Re: Pressure washers ?….
I've tried several of the technical snow foams and in all honesty I don't think they're any better than a pre rinse with a low powered battery jet wash to wash the worst of it off. Whenever I've tried them they don't just shift the black pad dust or grim stuck to the exhaust and I have have to end up using a bucket & sponge, so what's the point. In terms of a 'soap' all I use is a £9.99 for 5L bottle of Turtle Wax Shampoo rather than £10 for 1L that doesn't seem to do much anyway.

Re: Pressure washers ?….
Hi, I use a snow foam as a pre wash to loosen the worst muck, then wash with Autosmart TFR , via the pressure washer, and agitated with a good quality wash mitt and lots of clean water. Any stubborn bits are treated with MucOff, then dried with a pet dryer, which are half the price of a bike dryer and every bit as good.
