Bent rim/tire went flat/somewhat stranded

I hit a large pothole riding at night. I was able to pull over and have the bike towed to a hotel. Apparently there's a tire shop that opens in the morning.

Do you think this is salvageable to at least get me roughly 100 miles down the road or am I looking at being stranded longer?

My bike is a 2008 R1200RT.

Any advice on what years are compatible for replacement?

BTW, I'm in Tecate, Mexico, looking to make it to just past Ensenada.
