Well it arrived, a tiny little thing and way smaller than one I hired when we had the MX5. It fitted very nicely in the zipped CO2 cartridge pocket of my air vest, also supplied with it was a adhesive windscreen mount but as the bike screen is curved I didn’t think it would hold bearing in mind the 30+ temperatures we expected on the trip.

A week into the tour and it’s been good, worked almost every time in France and Italy, but failed on the one toll that we’ve met in Greece. Fingers crossed it’ll play nicely tomorrow when we meet some more.

Incidentally, if anyone is wondering just how large the toll tag is, here’s a pic. It comes with a self adhesive mount to fit onto your car windscreen or bike screen.

I got a Bip n Go tag for my trip last September, it was a Godsend. My travelling companion cheaped out and didn't he ended up with major hassles including one situation where in temper he broke the barrier ... I've not spoken to him since but guess that the French authorities have chased him for repairs

It was fantastic, a few days on the Cote d'Azur, a weekend at the Bol d'Or and an amble back via Italy>Simplon Pass, Switzerland and France

This is on the Simplon Pass
