Hi,
Hope everyone is enjoying the glorious weather with good rides.
I am in the process of upgrading my 2014 LC R1200 RT to a pre-registered R1250 RT 2024. I shopping around to get the bike insured and to my dismay, a comprehensive policy is around £1600!! I live in London by the way, as the location matters for the insurance purposes. For my R1200RT I paid recently fully comprehensive just £280 with Europa Bike.
Are you having issues with higher fees when renewing your insurance?
Many thanks in advance.

Re: Insurance premium for a R1250RT
I've struggled with the last couple of bikes I've bought as they were over £20k, which a lot of insurers simply will not insure. Insurance has also gone through the roof this year, many policies are 30/40%+ more expensive, which is not as much if it was £300 in the first place, but on a new bike in London I could understand that figure being as you have said

Hi,
Thanks for your comments. Finally managed to get an offer from Devitt around £1.1K. Still a lot but not ridiculous like the £1.6 K.
I am counting the hours to collect the new bike!! Sounds weird that I have not even tested the bike. Assumed it will a refined product compared ro my R1200RTLC from 2014.
Enjoy your rides.
