Good day all wherever you are.
Not new to bikes but this is my first R1200RT
Had 3 R1200/1250 GSA's but at my age, comfort is priority 1 so the RT suits me just fine.
Looking forward to contributing to discussions and hopefully not asking too many daft questions.
Thanks for the access to the forum
Stay safe
Greetings from Aberdeenshire

Re: Greetings from Aberdeenshire
Welcome to the forum - do you have a spare room in the summer?
Dig in and enjoy, I know I'm not as young as I used to be, and the RT is a good half way house between sports and touring. Lets be honest here, half the guys on a sports bike could not keep up with someone half decent on an RT, and dozens of Police forces across Europe can't all be wrong

Re: Greetings from Aberdeenshire
Hi Jesim1
Thank you for the welcome.
I'm around 35 miles north west of Aberdeen and always a room available, secure garage and good home cooking.
I plan 3 or 4 weekend trips each year around Scotland and you'd be more than welcome.
I've got 44 years this year on 2 wheels and had a multitude of different bikes from a T500 Twin 2 Stroke in 1979 through the usual CBR's, ZX's, GS's etc and really do enjoy the RT so far.
Thanks again.

Thank you.......i'm thinking we'll need more than luck to have any hope of progressing. Can't say we don't try and it gives us somewhere different to go on holiday
