BMW Connected ride cradle

Post by Fourbears »

I am considering options to make using my phone more easy. Currently I have a Zumo XT on the 3DAM adapter on my 2016 RT paired with an iPhone 13 and a Sena SRL2. That means I cannot make any changes to music etc plus using the phone requires leaning forward and tap the menu which isn’t exactly safe. So I was looking at a Carpuride as that has CarPlay but then thought that the connected ride cradle might be better as you can use the WW with it. But looking at it I think it is more designed to be used with TFT equipped bikes. So does anyone on a pre-TFT bike use the cradle and can you send routes from MRA, my preferred route planner, to the BMW Connected app to use?

The connected ride doesn't fit in the gap where the sat nav mount is
