Hi all, Is it possible to fit a Garmin XT 2 with the 3Dam adapter onto a UK spec 2020 R1250RT LE within the original gap or is it to big at 6inches.
Has anyone fitted a XT 2
Garmin are again changing my VI, I'm asking now so I know come fail day.....& it will as we all know, that the XT 2 plus the associated parts can be fitted.
Cheers all

Re: Garmin XT 2
The XT only just fits with a little gap around the edge
I'm sure if you need you could space the mount out so it sits further forward to allow it to fit

Re: Garmin XT 2
The release button for the XT2 is easily acessible, therefore one would have to remove the SatNav on parking up somewhere.
The XT recesses further in to the hooded area, such that the release button is inaccessible.
If one then adds the Wunderlich central locking-activated gadget, the SatNav is secure for reasonably long periods (though I would not leave it open to temptation overnight)
