What do you mean it rides like a tractor now?

What's been done to it to cause that?

No idea what they've done, bogs down when trying to accelerate in every gear(like a plugs gone on a 4 pot)Then vibrates when not bogging but still trying to accelerate but not pulling cleanly or smoothly as it did before it went in to them. They have carried out a 22k service and done the recalls bar the warning light one.Service light has obviously been turned off so they've been into the ecu and I told them to do nothing else because of the PowerCommander. Well they've done something(I'm hoping it's just a plug that's breaking down under load which isn't down to them)
Apart from that it's pissing me off that I've got to get the bike back to them and "IF" they had a spare curtsey bike(they don't) it would cost me £20 a day. Can't say I'm impressed.

That’s disgusting service  , if it was running fine when you took it in and then not on the way home it’s down to them to sort it

Not on the wet head there isn't! There's only one per cylinder

The earlier models had 2 per cylinder

Williams Motorrad don't do that, they just leave it till the next 6k or 12 month service. Spark plugs should be good for at least 40 to 50k anyway, I changed mine on the RT at 18k and they're still in there doing fine at 50 odd thousand miles.
The GS 'is' the better bike :-)

In my opinion I change spark plugs regularly, I’ll have a hard time leaving them in for 12k mls , each to their own!.

When I bought my bike I fitted NGK Iridium Plugs. After 3.5 years they are still in great condition. Bit more expensive having to buy 4(07 model) but we'll be worth it. My last bike was a Tiger 1050 and covered over 60K with a set of Iridium plugs
