Didn't know we had to wash them ourselves, thought it was something the dealer does as part of the service.

222 miles - Telford - Welshpool - Machynlleth - Nant-Y-Moch - Devils Bridge - Elan Valley - Clun - Telford The first hour was wet, then light showers, sunshine from around 2pm

If you are out near Clun, I can recommend the Post Card Cafe next to the bridge.

We descended on Clun as part of Simbo's excellent 2022 UK annual Meet. Had lunch inside the cafe and by the river.

Just got back from a ride over to Fowlers in Bristol. We had a good look around and some toast and a coffee.
Even tho it was mainly motorway, it was still a nice ride.

Got out on my own today, wife stayed at home doing the ironing.
Had a very nice ride around Brecon, stopped at a BMW indy dealer and picked up an air filter.
Traffic was heavy with loads of lorrys and roadworks.
Did 139 miles over 4 hours.
It was nice being on my own, i just took it at my own pace.

Bike mileage now at 16,994 so i've now done a total of 1,218 miles on it myself.

EDIT...

It also rained so Artie needs another wash. Bloody dirty roads

Went for what started as a nice ride on the mountain bike over the fields today.as my legs are crap I was Just plodding along taking in the birds and plants. I heard one of these electric bikes coming up behind me from a distance, I stopped to look behind me thinking he was going a bit fast. Next thing I knew he had knocked me off my bike. He nudged me in the side as he drove past. Didn't even stop to see if I was OK. I had fallen on a sharp rock banging and cutting my knee. Result 12 stitches across my knee cap. Whilst in A+E the Doc called over a police officer who took a statement from me.
Here said he's hearing more and more reports about this sort of thing. What is happening is these kids are buying these Sur-ron type of bikes and taking the restrictors off and running riot. One of these bikes was clocked at 70mph on the A27. The ones that they have trapped found both were drug runners. Without plates on most can't be traced.
Well once mended and if I see him again, my walking stick will be going straight though it wheels

Sorry to hear this. I hope that your knee heals quickly. Unfortunately thats the world we find ourselves in, my friend got run over by somebody on one of those disabled electric scooters. They weren't remotely interested when challenged.

Thanks for the comments chaps. The cut doesn't hurt but the bruising does. Luckily I have sticks and an electric chair in the garage.

Do you have the electrodes and wet sponge to go with the chair?
