New Chigee version on the way

Post by Glenn »

It's the unit only (no cameras) that is detachable and works with the wheel

This is an absolute game changer for our bikes.
Confirmed fits '14-'20 RT, handlebar wheel integration for navigating the system.

Full Carplay and Android Auto.

$499 and ships August 2024.

I'm going to grab one soon as available.

This is a Kickstarter funded project, but done by a reputable group that has successfully launched products for quite some time.

Watching with interest, but I haven’t seen anyone showing it working with the non lcd screen rt. all the videos I have seen show the lcd and the long press on the menu button to switch from the lcd to the nav….
If anyone has it on the earlier 1250 would be good to see..

I will buy one I think, but with both a 36,000 mile service and a new dash cam on the bike, and an MOT/service on the car within the next few days time it may have to just wait a while... So I'll pass the honour over to you Martin!

It appears that for the 1200 you need to buy an extra plug-in CGRC-CAN to get Wonder Wheel and TPMS integration @ £79.99

https://abikething.com/product/chigee-c ... n-for-bmw/

And of course a posh silicone carry case @ £29, and a screen protector @ £19

Giving a grand total of £127.99 added to the purchase price of £469.95 = £597.94 which I guess is about the same as a Nav 6?

Ah… but, that’s only on the 1200, the 1250 doesn’t need the £80’s worth of CGRC CAN so it’s cheaper for you already.
