Hello all;
I purchased my 2014 R1200RTP from a City fleet auction. It was advertised that the clutch was replaced recently; which in my opinion caused the bid to go up higher than should have been. Anyway, I drove the bike a total of 3 or 4 times and then it lost power (engine sounded good) and smoke coming out of the transmission area.
Before opening it, I file a FOIA request to the city attorney and ascertained all the repair receipts. The documentation showed that the clutch was replaced at about 11K miles and I purchased it at 22K miles. I suspect that the outside repair facility just charged the city loads of money but never replaced the clutch. Can any experience folks here advise me what to look for, lets say, if the work was never done and it has original clutch? adding pictures for you guys.

From what I have seen, searching online, the Siebenrock clutch plate is not OEM but an aftermarket replacement.
The BMW OEM clutch plate would have "BMW" and the part number on it.
Coincidently, the number 737 on the clutch photo above are the last 3 digits of the OEM part # on the photo below.

I see; that means it was probably rider’s fault for losing clutch at every 11K. He probably was riding half clutch most of the time causing it to run out of friction lot sooner.

This now brings me to the next question; is it wise to change just the clutch plate or should I change the pressure plate and housing as well?

Can confirm that police tend to ride the clutches all the time for low speed maneuvering and slow riding in parades and such. According to some guys that I know that do that work, about 10-15k miles is all they usually get, that's even with the wet clutches on the water cooled bikes. I'd just spring for the new clutch and enjoy the confidence that comes with the new clutch.

Bought a CLA02600 package from beemershop and I’ve all the seals here. Now just need the torque values of all inside bolts. I’m ready to pack the bike back together. Does anyone knows the torque of these bolts?

Hey fellows;
I have the replacement kit and all the seals. I was trying to find torque values of bolts the secure the clutch housing and flywheel cover in place. I think I will also have to remove weight balancer to replace bottom seal. Any help will be much appreciated.

I found following torque values:
Clutch Housing to Crank Shaft: 40Nm then 40 degrees (to replace rear main seal)
Replace all M11X1.5X12.9 with new bolts (must not use old bolts)
Balancing Shaft: M8X70: 10Nm then 90 degrees (replace the seal)
Housing cover M6X20: 12Nm
Gearbox to engine: M6X18: 19Nm
Peek Cover M6X16: 8Nm
Slave Cylinder M6X16: 8Nm
