Storing a D-lock

Post by Wooster »

I wonder if anyone has found a solution to store a D-lock?
I have a Roadlok on the front wheel, which is a fantastic device (although a little bit expensive), but when I am on a trip and I leave the bike on the street, I would feel better if I could secure the rear wheel as well.
Of course there is always the possibility to put the D-lock in the Top Case, but I don’t find this very convenient. That’s why storing the D-lock somewhere where it is easy to put and remove would be great.
Any idea anyone ?

Not very discrete in my opinion, and interferes too much with the number plate.

From ukGSer, "Had one of these, no hassle carrying a U-Lock with this."

And in the same thread it mentioned that the exhaust heat, fumes melted it.

Unlikely on an RT, look where the exhaust is in this photo from the ukGSer thread.

The rear end/side case hasn't melted on the RT.

Not a problem on this motorcycle.

Either way, it's ugly and the op isn't interested in that one. :thumb:
