Starting in 1st

Can someone do a sanity check for me as I'm sure my R12RT LC used to start in first with the clutch pulled in, it's now only starting if I put it into neutral.

I have several bikes, plus I work with bikes so I'm not sure if I'm misremembering :D

You need a new clutch switch!

I have just replaced mine for the same issue

Depends on if you have cruise control or not

I have the cruise control. I’ve been putting it off changing it for a while 😂

This is the one you need then

BMW dealer was going to charge me £55 which is a good price but for ease I just got one delivered with my service kit

There is a small T8 screw that comes out then the switch will come off and fitting is reverse of removal (I sound like Haynes)

There is a locating peg for it to go in to too so just make sure it's in that
