2025 South Wales Meet
Due to my health i was not able to make it to the meet this year.
So i would like to try again and organise a second South Wales weekend meet.
I have sent DaveCly a message to ask when he is hoping to have the 2025 forum meet.
Once i know them dates i can start to sort out the south wales meet dates.

How about meeting halfway between those who are furthest apart and wish to attend, rather than on your doorstep.

Re: 2025 South Wales Meet
But then it would not be a south wales meet D'oh.
You can always do your own meet, no one is stopping you.
And i'm sorry i did not make the last south wales meet. For some reason i thought i was going to die in hospital, i know now that is no excuse, me bad.

Re: 2025 South Wales Meet
So as for a date for the South Wales meet, going by the annual forum meet and the europe trip. I think the same weekend as this year, the weekend of the 3rd & 4th May 2025. Now we can make this a one or 2 day meet. I will leave this open to see what others want.

Re: 2025 South Wales Meet
Now if this turns into a 2 day meet, i was thinking we could book a B&B for the Saturday night at a mid way point.
We could ride from Abergavenny up north and across to Aberystwyth on the first day (Saturday) and then on the second day we could ride down to Fishguard and across back to Abergavenny.
What ever we do, i will make a route that takes in as many back and B roads as possible.
If there is any road you want to add to the route, please post it on here and i will see if it will works for the ride.
No farm tracks or green laning routes (sorry).
I have done this before about 8 years ago in one day, But sod doing it in one day now. it was a fast and long ride that day on a ZZR1400 with the wife pillion.
EDIT.
Ps. If we do do the 2 days. We need to book the B&B as soon as possible. It being a bank holiday weekend.

Re: 2025 South Wales Meet
Just a thought... How about, ride 'down/up/across' to Abergavenny the day before (fri/sat) , then a good ride out on the Saturday/Sunday, before departing ways the day after?.. it gives people a chance to get there enjoyably and dump their luggage, 'socialise' in the evening's before and after the ride out then make their merry way homeEasyRider wrote: ↑Wed Aug 21, 2024 7:54 am Now if this turns into a 2 day meet, i was thinking we could book a B&B for the Saturday night at a mid way point.
