Recent BMW Newbie

Post by Old School »

Hello Everyone,
After more than 30 motorcycles owned during 60 years of riding, including several Goldwings and two Harley Road Kings, I finally bought my first BMW nearly one year ago. I've always been fascinated by the boxer engine and am quite impressed with the looks of the RT. Shortly after Christmas last year, I ran across a very clean and well maintained 2012 RT. I have really enjoyed it and have already put nearly 6,000 miles on it. It has the comfort of the Goldwing and more character. Also, it's about 200 lbs. lighter.

I recently purchased a 2017 WC RT and am awaiting delivery from out of state.

Cheers and ride safe,
Dennis
