I went out for a couple of hours yesterday, a bit slimy underfoot with wet rotting leaves on the country roads but dry most of the way. It seems an age since I was last out…

Bike now washed and away.

I have got to say that yesterday ride was not nice at all. The first 20 miles was ok, but after that i wished i was in the car.
We both had RST Paragon 6 kit on, and for the first time i got water inside and got wet.
Going to see if i have time today to wash and clean Artie. It could be time to get the Honda XL out for the winter and put Artie away until next year.

It was biblical my way for parts of yesterday. Glad I didn’t bike to work. Last night there were lakes on local roads.

Blue skies and a drying track, so out for a short ride, around the local roads. Bike was well "pumped up" for it, as the photo below proves!

It was +13 °C today so I took the R1100RT for a ride. It was really nice. I like the Dunlop Roadsmart 4s a lot.

2013 XL-1000 Varadero. Was going to sell it because of its top heavy weight. But i removed all the engine and luggage bars and changed the exhausts, which has made it much better.

Lovely little bikes, and that’s looking really good, well done
I had one to do CBT’s on when I was an Instructor. Really shouldn’t have sold it, nor the R65 that followed it. :(
