So after getting very wet the other day in the heavy rain we had, I thought i needed to do something to help.
So i hit google and read about some products to help make fabric a bit more water repellent.
My RST Paragon 6 gear is not bad at keeping you dry in all but heavy rain.
But i want a bit more help in keeping dryer as its not a nice feeling having water running down your legs into your boots.
So i have bought 12 x 400ml cans of "Scotchgard Water Shield Waterproof Tent Gear Clothing Protector Spray".
The price is not to bad as i got it for £8.10 per can. And if going by there website 1 can should cover both the jacket and trousers. Once its here and i've tested it i will post it up on here if its any good or not.

Yes we have this type of waterproofs which are ok for going over our summer gear.
Our winter gear (paragon 6) is very warm and breathable.
From reading the info about the Scotchgard, it still allows the fabric to breath.

Re: Scotchgard™ Heavy Duty Water Shield
Can't praise the para 6 highly enough. Mine leaked once in the chest area. Turned out it was my fault as I didn't do up the storm flap correctly. I have to say I find it too warm sometimes, that's due to my high blood pressure.
Don't over do the Scotchgard. As it can clog the beathabitly of the clothing. All you need is a heavy mist

If it's the right size I've recently put a Richa one piece oversuit for sale in the erm, for sale section. Happy to let it go a bit cheaper to a well know member of our little gang.

I have a Richa unlined two piece suit that I carry in my rear crash bar bags. They have been 100% waterproof everytime I've worn them. Handy for summer showers. Grades above the stay wet Oxford 2 piece I used before. Two bin liners would have been a better bet the them.
