Re: What did you do today?
After 2 days of rubbing down my wheels from scabs and bubbling under the paint. I've given the front wheel a first coat of paint. Letting that dry before rubbing down for the next coat.
Neighbours must think am having a concert in the garage. I've got my 200W guitar amp in there with Larking Poe and ZZ top playing. With a little reverb makes it sound like the girls are in the garage with me. WHAT SORRY CAN'T HEAR YOU

I'll ask me boy if I can use his daughter
Today I went to a scooter parts fair in Melton Mowbray. As well as spending far to much money(unless you own an original lambretta/vespa you really wouldn't believe the price of upgrades and no,I'm not talking mirrors ) I purchased a few pork pies,NICE

There’s some lovely roads near Melton Mowbray, I used the cafe at the park as a meet point on the MAC courses.
Still don’t like the pork pies though…

Thanks , I didn’t want to really and if the person I worked for bought a ride on mower I wouldn’t have but I’m sick of wearing myself out walking miles behind a pedestrian mower!, the boss is the main wage earner and I’m already doing pretty much everything at home from months ago when I kinda went part time. What with my op it’s going to be spring I think before getting back on a bikeburridge01 wrote: ↑Mon Oct 28, 2024 6:29 am Happy retirement Panman, bet SHE already has a list of jobs to be getting on with

Re: What did you do today?
Welcome to my world. You thought a 5 day week was hard, now try an 8 day week. There's the painting, grouting, window washing, relaying the drive, etc, etc. But the other half will want them all done by the end of the week. As you are just about to put your feet up, there's the shelves to be put up, the house to be painted. That's in the first 2 weeks. It doesn't stop.
