Where can I find this Ramm ball mount?

Post by Ninjawarrior »

Looking to install a 1 inch Ramm Ball onto BMW r1250 RT clutch or brake reservoir top plate using same screw thread as stock screws. Have searched hi and low and can't find this type of base mount.

I have found top mounting plates with slotted screw holes, but they require elevated mounting via shim washers. Don't want that it looks very tacky.

The pics I posted is the mount I am looking for.

Help!

Do you mean this one?

https://www.normski-bmw.co.uk/product-p ... r-ram-bolt

I had it one day, but it was a bit too tight, my clutch lever was not returning fully on a sunny day and because of that the clutch switch didn't disengage and my quick-shifter wasn't working. I'll need to get it machined a bit. But it could be my specific issue, I am still planning on getting it on my bike.
I am here to learn.

Arends,

Thanks for this website this is exactly what I was looking for already contacted the man who makes them in his home work shop and ordered both types of Ramm ball mount extension machined bolts.

Very well made out of Stainless steel about $28.00 from the UK, and I gave him an idea of a temporary extended clutch pivot bolt to allow you to place your helmet D ring over the bolt head for a temporary stop so it won't fall off the bike on windy days.
