Just got a nice 2020 RT and also have a 2020 GT and miss the low end start off power of the GT. Has anyone done a Bren Tune, or Tune and new exhaust system to their bikes?
If so, was it worth the cost? Any Horsepower figures you can share from dyno would be helpful over stock numbers.

Has anyone done a Bren Tune to their R1250 RT?

I had mine tuned at Hilltop in the UK, it was for smoothness and low down torque, not top end power, as I never use that anyway, the RT just isn't a bike I want to thrash, even though it's well mannered for the type of bike it is. Just how fast do you want to go, I'm way into triple figures at under 6k+ in top

Not interested in high speed driving, interested in low end performance from a stopped position at traffic lights etc. It drags a bit before 3500 rpm then the power comes on. Wish it had 10-15 more hp MAYBE A BREN TUNE COULD HELP??
Just wondering if anyone has tuned an RT and gained enough power to be worth the cost of the tune upgrade?

Be careful chasing HP, 9/10 times it just gets pushed further up the rev range and will not result in a torquier engine under 3.5k revs, it's often at the expense of low down torque that HP is gainedNinjawarrior wrote: ↑Fri Nov 15, 2024 6:42 pm Not interested in high speed driving, interested in low end performance from a stopped position at traffic lights etc. It drags a bit before 3500 rpm then the power comes on. From the R1200R Forum, https://www.r1200rforum.com/threads/bre ... e-2.58463/ BT on a 2020 1250R.
"The moment you take off you then notice the torque".
"If I'm reading the graph correctly, 11% increase in measured torque is nothing to sneeze at, especially that it comes on earlier in RPM range.
Also 9.9% increase in measured horsepower also earlier in the RMP range".
