Free Collection & Delivery

Post by David. »

How about this for convenience.

If like me, you tuck your motorcycle away for winter and it's due a service during this period, BMW Motorrad are offering a Free C&D Service.
From 1st November 2024 to 28th February 2025, this applies within a 50 miles radius of the dealer.

During the same period, some dealers are also offering 10% off service costs too.

Not only that, it means you can SORN the motorcycle, at nearly £10 per month, that'll help towards the service costs.

David, Do you give your parts to the collection courier, or do you take them to the dealer yourself?!

The motorcycle is collected by the BMW dealer themselves, not a third party courier.

The parts are supplied by myself and are picked up with the motorcycle.

I just pay the invoice (labour only) over the phone.

I suppose there is a danger that we could put the motorcycle industry out of business if we try and get every penny out of them.

Vertu (inc. BMW Motorrad Sunderland) who get my business are doing rather well thank you.

Vertu Motors plc was formed in 2006, not sure when they started to sell Honda motorcycles at both Grantham and Nottingham. First became aware of the company when they opened a Honda motorcycle dealership locally in Stockton-on-Tees. In 2020, Vertu bought some BMW car dealers in the North East which included BMW Motorrad Sunderland. In 2022, Vertu purchased Allan Jefferies at both Shipley and Rotherham. Since then and most recently, they have opened a Ducati dealership on site at Sunderland. Vertu have a BMW Motorrad dealership in Exeter too. Vertu are the largest BMW Motorrad dealers in the UK. Don't think I've missed any Vertu motorcycle dealers.
