Brake and clutch lever angle adjustment

Post by Jgbtv »

Hi
I'm trying to adjust either my brake or clutch lever to be at the same angle as the other. Can anyone offer advice on how to do this and which screws need to be undone? I have a 2007 R1200RT.
PS. I'm not trying to adjust the travel of the lever. I know how to do that!
Thanks
John

The photos in the Haynes manual are not particularly clear but it looks like the screws on the front and back of the switch unit need to be removed.
Once the switch unit is removed, it looks like there is a clamp around the handlebar which perhaps may be loosened and rotated as required.

These parts diagrams may help.
