An Eastender in Germany

Post by Jordanoup »

Hi All, just wanted to introduce myself here. I'm a Greek Cypriot born and bred eastender but left the UK in 2018 and currently live and work in Germany. Bought a BMW when I moved here K1200RS and got rid of it in first year was unreliable and went back to Japanese Fjr1300 with zero problems last 5 years. Decided last week to have a nose about in bmw garage and saw a brand new R1250RT racing metallic blue with a massive discount due to euro 5 plus out in January so thought I'd buy it! Rode it home and thought oh dear did I just buy a tractor 😂 I guess with zero km on the clock it needed time to settle and surely it did. I must say not that I have put lots of km on it but it's really nice to ride and rode it with no earplugs! Only thing so far was having problems finding neutral but I guess I'm used to the FJR so I'm sure it will come. The bike is fully loaded and feels super comfy. I use a HUD which runs with Calimoto but unfortunately can't get it running on that massive display and was wondering how if anyone has got a quad lock mounted on one. If so would love to hear solutions.
Thanks and regards from rainy Germany 😂
