The simple answer is, don't share routes and use a group riding system to navigate the route for all.
Just ensure that all have the known P&T stops (waypoints).

The Northeast 250 website and MyRoute-app route are available to all.
The bespoke route I created has been shared by email and is available to others too.

The route seems to work on the connected ride app? I won't know for definite coz I've no intensions of going.
