Quadlock
Hi. I wanted to fit a quadlock to my 2009 rt so I can use my phone as a sat nav & to make sure I don’t speed. Their own site recommended the new brake/clutch mount, It arrived today but I can’t see how the hell it’s meant to be fitted. I thought about the handlebar mount screws, but I think mine are for decoration only, I couldn’t move them. Any ideas? Thanking you in advance, Jim.

Re: Quadlock
I think bmw have welded mine on. I’m currently looking at torx socket sets on Amazon, those that are not made in China

Re: Quadlock
Thanks, I’ve ordered a torx socket set from Amazon which should be here by the weekend. I’ve already squirted WD40 on the bolts so hopefully that will help.

Re: Quadlock
I recently fitted a Quadlock to my 2013 RT using the Motorcycle / Scooter Mirror mount with absolutely no problems at all. The Quadlock mount comes with a number of inserts for various diameters of mirror stems / bars which worked perfectly on the mount / bar I have for the Navigator V.
I use a DIN / USB adaptor for the power to my iPhone with no problems at all.
Hope that makes sense.
