Suspension: That's true. The GS has more shock travel. I have noticed a difference on one of my regular routes, a very undulating country road surface. In 'Road' setting, the RT tops out and has me out of the saddle more. The GS didn't. Strangely, not so noticeable in 'Dynamic'.

In Dynamic Mode, does the suspension adapt itself to the road surface conditions, with stiffer damping.

Re: GS, GSA VS RT
My understanding is, in Road and Dynamic, the suspension is constantly 'adapting', but I can never detect that. The difference is increased damping in Dynamic. Noticeable. No bouncing and generally feels much sharper. Both modes still give a plush feeling. So I only use Road if I'm spending time on a dual carriageway. But I'd be happy if the suspension only came in Dynamic.

Yes. It also adapts to the weight on the bike, you can also set each mode up with different settings like auto for ride height or low and high and then set your own parameters for rain, road, dynamic and enduro.
The GS 'is' the better bike :-)
