For sale in the next couple of weeks.
For sale in the next couple of weeks.
I am getting a K1600GT next week so have a few items I will be putting on eBay eventually which are:
CEE Baileys dark tint screen
Heated Comfort seat
Remus Hexacone end can
Crud Catcher (black powder coated)
In Fill Panels
Side stand foot if I can get it off.
I haven't priced anything up yet but if anyone is interested in any items before I list them on eBay then please send me a message.

Re: For sale in the next couple of weeks.
I have a couple of mates with K1600GT and they love them. Which model RT are the parts off ? Just for interest what swung you towards the big 6 ?
Re: For sale in the next couple of weeks.
I have the 2013 anniversary RT.
I can't put my finger on the reason yet for the change, maybe when I have ridden it for a while I can say for sure.

Re: For sale in the next couple of weeks.
Hope you enjoy it. I test rode one when they first came out and thought it was an awesome bike. The engine and exhaust note is very addictive. Very capable bike particularly at high speed cruising. The only reason I went for the RT was weight. I'm sure you are going to have fun. May be when you have done a few miles you can give us your thoughts compared to the RT.
Re: For sale in the next couple of weeks.
Looks like you will be swapping to the 1600 forum to make up for me going the other way. Spent 3 years on 1600s and except for persistent switch failures and on my first one, transmission lash I found them amazing. Just watch the extra weight and don't take it out the shop without engine guards.

Engine bars fitted :-)

Re: For sale in the next couple of weeks.
You will be glad that you fitted the engine protection if you have a tip over. It saved me a bunch of money when I had the GTL.
It is a really great bike, very fast and very smooth. I just couldn't get a good feeling from it so I went back to the RT. I hope you have better luck with yours.
The exhaust note is very cool. It will jump out of your hands if you let it. Just incredible torque and speed.

Iv never seen the in fills before. They look like a good paint match but they are not OEM bits. Lots of heat comes out of there.
PS Hold onto your nickname for when you return to this dark side.
