Just had my right hand switch changed under the recall. Took all of 5 minutes to do. New rocker feels smoother and less clicky so here's hoping.

Did you take the bike in just for the switch or were you having other works done on it?
Or tell me not to be so nosey. ;))

Just the switch.  I was passing the shop and it had just arrived so they popped  it on. When I pressed the starter switch on the one they had just taken off to compare the feel it went solid. Crazy. Over 3 bikes I have now had 6 right hand switch clusters. I don't want any more.

Looking at the date that was attempt No 3 to fix the problem.  The one now being fitted was first used in May this year. I think recent failures have been mechanical (crap plastic) ones as opposed to electrical.
I'm  taking medication to try and forget the whole sorry saga.
