Ah, good news. I take it there's no issues/concerns aired re heat generation from the LED 'bulb' when installed in place of the OEM halogen bulb??

Now done over 2000 miles with the LED now, and its on all the time as i rarely ride with just the Halo rings on.
Absolutely no issues with overheating, even on some very hot days.

Upgrade headlight to my 2015RT using this CIL-LED-H7 H7 3000 lumen LED from cyclops:

Found it easier to demount the whole front of the bike to access the bulb and to be sure it was proper mounted.
Works grate, but there is quite a bit of stray light, but it doesn't seem to bother incoming traffic.
Be aware that the total light on the ground seems to be less than using good quality normal bulb.
Light is totally white and looks bright
No problems with the Canbus
